Learning Resources

There's so much information online about personal finance and investing. I have picked out some information sources, videos and articles that I like to help you sort out the good from the bad. I also have an extensive blog that is easy to read. I've written some primers, created videos, gathered the Q&As from my newsletter, and put information about the stock market on my website, all with the sole purpose of helping you improve your financial literacy and make you feel more confident financially.

Here are some other resources that I really like.

Canada Revenue Agency: For answers about RRSPs, TFSAs, FHSAs, RDSPs and of course, taxes.

Ontario Securities Commission. The Get Smarter About Money website has lots of unbiased information about investing.

Financial Consumer Agency of Canada: Another unbiased source of information about a broad range of financial topics.

McGill University personal finance course: A free online course put together by a variety of professors. It's excellent.
